Since 2008, MVP has tracked the club’s top hitter of the season and rookies who hit, and drink, like veterans.
In the 2020s, MVP expanded its recognition, democratically, to include some love for the top players, pitcher, and defenders each season.
In 2022, MVP proudly introduced the John “One-Leg” Merrill Teammate of the Year Award, the DSSL’s Walter Payton equivalent.
