MVP Irrigation Village Beverage Brew Crew Batting Title
The crown jewel of awards since MVP’s inception has always been the illustrious Batting Title.
In MVP’s 18 seasons, more men have walked on the moon than players whose names are etched into MVP history. Just 11 players have ever claimed the award, and only four of them have done it more than once.

The award has not come without its fair share of controversy; sparking debates across the clubhouse on a viable minimum after a few players were stiffed by the then 12 at-bat minimum from 2008-2022. From then on, 21 was deemed sufficient to qualify an MVP slugger for the title.

- Min. AB change to 21 nicknamed the “Rizzi Rule” after Nick Rizzi’s 2022 BA of .750 lost the title with the dated 12-AB min.
- 21 was chosen to one-up RJ’s #20, and whose title win was the trigger to the Rizzi Rule
