You read this right.

As of Friday morning, Kyle Baylous, MVP Captain and potential GM successor, has assumed control of the Bagas’ Thursday night team. Those close to the situation feel Baylous intends to leverage this experience as an audition for the GM position of the DSSL Champion Brew Crew.
Is this an effort to make a statement to MVP’s incumbent GM? Is this the captain taking one for the team and aiming to blow up the Bagas from the inside? Will this compromise Baylous’ good standing with MVP?
We’ll leave all that for you to decide, but upon taking control of the Bagas, the enthusiastic GM had this to say,
“This is a tremendous honor to be given the keys to such a formidable organization. I plan to take what I’ve learned under our cunning and handsome GM into the Bagas’ future.”
Kyle Baylous, Bagas GM
The Baga GM wasted no time this morning as he immediately cut three Baga regulars, added Ryan Mullahey (yes, he is back and you will hear all about it soon enough), upgraded the Bagas’ uniforms, and, despite the MVP GM’s disapproval, extended Ryan James even though he hit a bomb last night. When informed late Thursday night that his captain was to take on a newfound challenge, the MVP GM went on record saying,
“Mr. Baylous’ defiance (that we feel is an MVP cardinal sin) is both disappointing and shocking. His indiscretions will be assessed internally and his status as MVP’s captain is under review.”
