I don’t remember anything about any of the games we played since Fathers Day. Here are the headlines.
- Game V: MVP sleepwalks to win over Breaking Balls
- Game XI: Dugouts score as many runs as commissioner has fingers, MVP wins 13-4
- Game VII: Everett single handedly saves MVP from losing to an Old Timer Baga lineup with walk-off homer
- Game VIII: Death, Taxes, Boys implode late against MVP
- Game IX: Munchie picks up second batting title, drops finale as interim GM to Goblins
Most MVP players will be elated to hear that, for the second time, Munchie has bested the rest. Nick finished the season with a .767 BA and the batting title will continue its residence in Harlem for another year.
Munchie joins his brother, Circinone, & Wynkoop as the only MVP players to win the award multiple times.
Congrats Nicky:)
For the sixth-consecutive season, MVP finished atop the DSSL standing with a 7-2 record. They are slated to face the most recent version of the Cream Team, better known as the Breaking Balls.
