Bubba’s Picks of the Week: Oct 15th

One week into Jon Rich’s tenure as MVP’s resident sports betting expert, both Loesch’s mortgage and 1-Leg’s 401k look about the same as the Mets’ chances of playing in the NLDS.

Gonna let that one sink in for Mets fans.

Bubba, formerly known as J-Rich, went an adequate 4-5-1 (CFB: 2-2-1 & NFL: 2-3) in his first week. Bubba, however, was only 50% on his mortal locks.

It appears Jon may have mistaken the meaning as the Detroit Lions couldn’t have been further from that. Not only did the Motown Losers fail to hit the ML, or the spread, but they failed to score in a single point.

Yikes.

Jon appears unfazed as the quote to follow clearly suggests,

“If I could, I’d make them all mortal locks.”
