It has come to the attention of this blogger, via an MVP player who wishes to remain anonymous, that speculations regarding an ongoing feud between the left-side of MVP’s infield have grown inside the clubhouse.

So what was said about the Muscles/RJ issues?

Muscles & RJ at a charity event c.1999

Well, it was noted that for the first time since mid-June, Muscles was not in attendance amidst a competitive batting title race and Ryan James finally showed up after taking a 3-week hiatus to nurse a heath-related issue (See: OBGYN Clears Ryan James for Softball Activities).

The two are notoriously at odds with one another, with Muscles typically being the instigator at RJ’s expense. Did Ryan finally have enough? Was the thought of securing his first batting title more important than his relationship with Muscles?

I don’t have the answers, but I do have the facts. And here they are:

FACT 1: RJ appeared rather upset when Muscles said he ‘pussified’ when fielding ground balls, a comment Alex Rodriguez notoriously said of his hall of fame teammate, Derek Jeter.

FACT 2: Muscles has been a constant threat to steal the shortstop position as RJ’s commitment has been conditional at best. Again, another A-Rod/Jeter-like dilemma on our hands.

FACT 3: See Below:

Pretty self-explanatory
Muscles questioning validity of RJ’s batting average
Muscles breaking HIPAA laws against RJ

FACT 4: The two have been bickering over the batting title for weeks now and it appears either one would do pretty much anything to ensure the other did not win.

FACT 5: On Sunday RJ said this regarding the likelihood of Muscles’ availability for the Boys matchup,

“I don’t think we’ll be seeing much of him after the condition I left him in last night.”

Interesting…what condition was that Ryan?

Injured? Or worse?

While MVP Insider cannot confirm nor deny such heinous allegations, it does seem awfully suspicious that both MVP SCPD Officers (Frank and Muscles himself) are no longer available to internally investigate any foul play regarding the matter. Nonetheless, pretty incriminated stuff from the MVP superstar shortstop.

The last time Muscles was heard from was on Saturday night when he made a classic RJ comment.

As things stand now Ryan is primed to secure his 1st batting title with a .769 average. Trailing him are Rizz (.756), probably murdered Muscles (.737), and his hyper-critical GM (.718).

Stay safe out there Rizz.
