Following what was yet another string of games Ryan James has not been present for, a local OBGYN has determined James’ partial tear in his vaginal wall is healed.
How did Ryan incur such an injury?
During a Backstreet Boys concert at Jones Beach, Ryan attempted to do a split in hopes of capturing the attention of teen heartthrob, Nick Carter, lead vocalist for the boy band. To no surprise, Ryan epically failed and immediately grabbed his groin region in agonizing pain and Carter continued to perform “I Want It That Way” without a hitch.
His lovely wife, Kim, knew instantly that her estrogen-heavy husband had torn his vaginal wall. While the severity of the tear was unknown at the time, Kim recognized that this injury would likely derail Ryan’s lifelong aspirations to win a batting title.
But there’s good news. Dr. Joseph Sorrentino, MVP’s on-call OBGYN, announced early this week that the tear Ryan suffered was only a first degree one at that and Ryan was able to be cleared for shortstop ahead of MVP’s match-up with the Boys and expects his mensuration cycle to normalize by early week.
