Est. 2008 | Home of 6x DSSL Champs

Announced early this week by both Commissioner Scott Schmidt and Bagas GM King James:

“Nice. First place for you guys.”

Commissioner Schmidt

“MVP is a lock for top seed.”

King James, Known Nice Guy

MVP (9-1) secured the top seed last Sunday and Sizzlin (0-8) continued to lose to confirm what most people suspected, a match-up in the postseason. However, we didn’t know it’d be locked in 2 weeks ahead of the regular season finale.

With the Stoners (3-7) somehow winning 3 games and only 2 games to go, Sizzlin is summoned to the basement and a run-in with MVP.

Round 1: (1) MVP Vs. (8) Sizzlin | Field TBD

In their one meeting this season, MVP beat them comfortably 18-6 on Father’s Day at the Weight Room Field.

Whether or not the GM elects to invoke the 14-man lineup or not is to be determined based on performances against the Boys (5-4) and Dugouts (5-4).

As for the rest of the standings, here is where we are at now as well as the remainder of the schedule:

  1. MVP (Clinched) 9-1 | Boys & Dugouts
  2. Bagas 6-3 | Dugouts & Boys
  3. Boys 5-4 | MVP & Bagas
  4. Dugouts 5-4 | Bagas & MVP
  5. Bullworms 4-4 | Stoners & Goblins
  6. Goblins 4-5 | Sizzlin & Bullworms
  7. Stoners 3-7 | Bullworms & Sizzlin
  8. Sizzlin (Confirmed) 0-8 | Goblins & Stoners

As you can see the top 4 will be playing each other and the bottom 4 will do the same. Which means these standings will certainly look much different (except MVP & Sizzlin) as we move through the next 2 weeks. That being said, the Bagas (6-3) will once again find themselves rooting for MVP to play spoiler and secure them their #2 seeding.

The Office of the GM will continue to provide updates as they come in.
