Following the 2021 Season, the MVP Brew Crew experienced a ton of departures from most veterans as well as a resignation from Tom Loesch as the leader of the franchise. We want to take the time to let them know how much we appreciate sharing their Sunday morning tradition with us!
The Brew Crew has anticipated this as there has been a gradual implementation of young and talented players over the past 5 seasons. We understood that the original MVP members had been powering through their twilight years, even winning a title in 2019 with most of the original core still intact! Unfortunately, most of the veterans seemed to decide that going out on top was the only way to do it. We also feel it was likely due to the 2020 COVID non-season that caused a lot of the vets to contemplate retirement ahead of the 2021 season having had a taste of rest and relaxation the previous summer.
With the change in personnel in mind, it was a consensus from the young lads to reinvigorate some life into the club through a rebrand. This can be seen in a redesign of the club’s logo, uniform and introduction of a digital presence. We felt it was time for MVP to have a platform to highlight the team and its antics after seeing many successful and entertaining blogs amongst our counterparts in the DSSL.
Our new uniforms have been decided in a vote amongst the active players and we have a winner!

Our new modern classic logo will be accompanied by a Carolina Blue jersey with thick red and white piping to create a tasteful, yet bold look. We also decided to add an American flag because Adam sewed a flag on his previous jersey and made the rest of us look and feel like Communists. God Bless the U.S. of A!
That being said, we are excited to get the new jerseys and know they’ll be the talk of the town!
We are very excited for the rebranding of the MVP Brew Crew and are eagerly awaiting the 2022 season!
Cheers!
